Yesterday, I donated to the Special Olympics while buying my breakfast at Harmon's. It made me feel pretty good, and it wasn't even a big deal. I wasn't really planning on using my spare dollar anyways. Imagine if everyone buying groceries at Harmon's donated a dollar to the Special Olympics. That would be so many dollars.
My point being, maybe I like the Special Olympics. Maybe I think it's a good cause, and maybe I support them. Maybe, I feel bad about that one year when I was supposed to help out at the Special Olympics and never went. So for that, I'd like to publicly apologize to all those Olympians I let down, I'm sorry, I was fifteen and dumb.
